Who is it for?
Anyone who has control of a website can set up Google Analytics for that website. When you set up the account with Google analytics, you will be give some code which must be put into every web page which you wish to track. Often this code is put into the header or footer of a site. Websites using a content management system like Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla and Google sites, have simple ways to put the code into the site.
If you do not have control of a website but are interested in seeing the website traffic data for that site, you will need to ask the owner of the site for access to the data.
